In February of 2022, I began my journey to go from zero experience, to hired as a data analyst. In July of 2022 that dream became a reality. My first job (July 2022-July 2023) was as a Tableau Consultant at a small consulting organization. I now work at GitLab as a data analyst, and do some consulting independently.

What started as a fun experiment has grown into something much bigger than myself, which you may have noticed if you follow me on Tik Tok or LinkedIn!

Along the way, I spent less than $100. I took the Google certificates course in data analytics, and then moved on to 100 Days of Python (Udemy) and several excellent Maven Analytics Courses.

Once finishing my courses, I immediately began building a portfolio, which I have shared here. I have also shared all of the highs, lows, ins, outs, tips, and tricks along the way on LinkedIn, and Tik Tok.

I am looking forward to continuing to put out content on what is actually like to *be* a data analyst!
